Today in the hall of Nakchivan Executive Power, there was held a ceremony dedicated to 75 year-old historian, scientist and writer-publicist Rudolf Ivanov. The event was opened by Ismayil Hajiyev, the chairman of the Nakchivan department of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. He spoke about the life and activity of academician Ivanov.
The rector of Nakchivan State University, academician Isa Habibeyli spoke about the books written by Ivanov about the Nakchivan commanders, as well as the issue that at present Ivanov collects archive materials related to Jamshid Nakchvanski the first Nakchivan general. The participants of the event congratulated Ivanov and wished him long life and creative successes.
At the end, Ivanov expressed his gratitude to the head of Nakchivan for conducting the jubilee ceremony.
