Azerbaijan’s AzVirt company has begun construction of road infrastructure in Ukraine, a source at the company told Trend.
Earth works as part of the construction of the Kyiv-Chernihiv-Novy Yarlovich highway in Ukraine have been completed, according to the source.
The total length of the highway is 81 kilometers. The cost of the project is 117 million euros.
According to preliminary estimates, the project implementation period will end before 2022.
Presently, the Azerbaijani construction company is involved in several major road projects abroad, as well as in the construction of small facilities in Azerbiajan.
AzVirt company is one of the well-known road construction contractors in Azerbaijan and is engaged in the construction of roads, runways, and airports.
Besides the design and construction of roads and big facilities, the company is engaged in the production of building materials, including asphalt concrete mixtures and activated mineral powder.
