BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) forecasts economic growth in the country this year at 3-3.5 percent, CBA chairman Taleh Kazimov said during a press conference on changes in parameters of the refinancing rate, Trend reports.
Kazimov noted that GDP growth in 2025 is forecast at 3–4 percent.
Based on the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan data, the country's GDP in 2023 amounted to 123 billion manat ($72.2 billion), and real economic growth is estimated at 1.1 percent.
To note, according to the forecasts of the Azerbaijani government, GDP growth in 2024 is expected to be at the level of 2.4 percent, and in 2025, 2.9 percent.
