A fatal swine flu case has been registered in Georgia. Forty eight-year-old man died two days ago in Kutaisi after getting infected with the H1N1 virus.

A fatal swine flu case has been registered in Georgia. Forty eight-year-old man died two days ago in Kutaisi after getting infected with the H1N1 virus.

This is the 24th death case.

So far, 1246 cases of the virus have been registered after laboratory analysis. Seven people are in grave condition, National Disease Control Centre told Trend .

According to the center, there is a positive tendency in reducing the spread of the influenza.

Specialists do not rule out a new wave of the flu in February, but it will not be as heavy as it was in December.
