In 2009, Azerbaijani police arrested 134 individuals who hid in the CIS countries and other foreign countries and wanted by police, said in Azerbaijani Government's report submitted to the Parliament.
National Central Bureau of Interpol determined 67 individuals' location who were in the international wanted list, 23 individuals' location were determined by Interpol member countries.
In 2009, 436 organized groups consisting of 955 peoples, who committed 907 serious and very serious crimes, as well as 24 organized groups consisting of 141 peoples were rendered harmless.
