Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today made a telephone call to Turkish President Abdullah Gul, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
The head of Azerbaijani state congratulated his Turkish counterpart on his birthday, and also on the national holiday of Turkey - Day of Republic, and wished him health and success in activity, and the people of Turkey - welfare and prosperity.
The President of Turkey expressed to President Ilham Aliyev gratitude for congratulations and the shown attention, conveyed to the Azerbaijani people the best regards.
Presidents of Azerbaijan and Turkey expressed satisfaction with successful development of relations of friendship and brotherhood between the two countries in all spheres, and stated confidence that bilateral relations will become stronger in the years to come.
