Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov and Yerzhan Kazykhanov will visit Azerbaijan, Kazakh Ambassador to Azerbaijan Serik Primbetov told journalists on Thursday.
Kazakh Foreign Minister will visit Baku at the invitation of his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov, his visit will be timed to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, Primbetov said.
On Aug.27, the two countries mark the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations.
Kazakh Prime Minister's visit is associated with his upcoming participation in the summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), which will be held this year in Baku.
In general, this year will be eventful in terms of bilateral relations.
Cultural Days of Azerbaijan will be held in Kazakhstan on June 4-8. It is planned to hold Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan on Nov.19-22.
