Jagland demonstrates infiniteness of ‘loyalty’ to certain quarters with his immediate statements on Azerbaijan – Azerbaijani official
Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 8
Novruz Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijani presidential administration, chief of the administration's foreign relations department said that self-professed human rights 'defender' - Jagland - is a very 'skillful diplomat'.
"His courage was limited to few statements on plight of migrants/refugees with all rights violated in Europe for many years," he tweeted Oct.8. "Yet once a committee chairman, he didn't miss opportunity to initiate awarding of Nobel Prize to newly elected president."
"Apparently not in vain as he became council of Europe Secretary General," he said. "Jagland evidently demonstrates infiniteness of 'loyalty' to certain quarters, with his immediate statements on Azerbaijan."
On October 7, 2015 Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland, announced his decision to withdraw the participation of his representative in the joint working group on human rights issues in Azerbaijan.
