BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. More than 80 percent of Azerbaijanis are actively interested in the parliamentary election campaign, the survey conducted by the Italian analytical agency SWG said, Trend reports.
“81 percent of respondents are interested in the campaign for the parliamentary election to be held in September,” the report says.
Meanwhile, based on the survey, 75 percent of respondents are satisfied with the work of deputies from their constituencies.
To note, the SWG agency, founded in the Italian city of Trieste in 1981, develops and releases market surveys, opinion polls, and surveys of public opinion and institutional groups, industry studies, and monitoring centers that analyze trends and dynamics of the market, politics, and society.
On June 28, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and calling for an extraordinary election.
The snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan is scheduled for September 1, 2024.
