�NEW POLICY’ BLOC TO PUBLICIZE REPORT ON RESULTS OF FIRST STAGE OF ELECTIONS

The �New Policy’ bloc appreciates their activities on the first stage of the parliamentary elections, Trend reports referring to a news conference of the bloc members on 6 September.

Yagub Mammadov, the ex-speaker, also a member of the bloc, noted that the organization did considerable work, registered 68 candidates and established elections headquarters in the regions. Adnan Novruzov, the head of the �New Policy’ bloc, stressed that 2 candidates were refused from registration. 46 from 68 candidates ballot from the regions.

According to Novruzov, the candidates faced with some problems related to the receiving of ID cards, as well as distribution of electors’ certificates. Novruzov said that a head of one elections committee was a Director of school, other members of committee вЂ" teachers of the same school.

“It is unacceptable and causes doubt in the holding of fair elections. Besides, the names of the same voters were included into the list of several constituencies,” he added.

Eldar Namazov, a member of the bloc, mentioned high level of appraisal on elections campaign by TVs. According to Namazov, posters are allowed to paste in the special places that is also limitation of the elections campaign.
