The second sitting of the joint commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation which accomplished its work on 27 December 2005, ended in signing 4 documents on development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt, the advisor of the Azerbaijan’s Embassy to Egypt Agaselim Shukyurov told Trend.
According to him, at the result of the bilateral negotiations the Protocol of the joint commission second sitting, Memorandum “On mutual understanding on cooperation in healthcare”, Memorandum between the Ministers of Economic Development of Azerbaijan and the Foreign Trade Ministry of Egypt ”On exchange of information on trade” and the Agreement “On cooperation between the Ministries of Finance” was signed.
At the talks held the understanding on construction of the joint insulin-producing factory in Azerbaijan has been achieved, Shukyurov said. According to him, the factory will provide the demands of Azerbaijan and the neighboring countries in this medication. The project’s details will be elaborated during the forthcoming meeting of the both countries’ experts.
