BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. The average monthly nominal wage of employees in Azerbaijan increased by 13.4 percent and amounted to 809 manat ($475.8) from January through March 2022 compared to the same period last year, Trend reports with reference to Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, the average monthly nominal wage of employees in the oil sector amounted to 3,605 manat ($2,121) from January through March 2022, in the non-oil sector - 754 manat ($443.5), at state-owned enterprises - 754 manat ($443.5), at private enterprises - 872 manat ($513).
The highest wages were recorded among workers in the mining sector, in insurance and finance, information and communications, in transport, warehousing and construction sectors.
