BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 3. The amount of goods and services in industrial sector in Baku amounted to 68.1 million manat ($40 million) from January through August 2022, Trend reports via Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the statistics department, the mining industry accounted for 89.6 percent, the processing industry - 9 percent, production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam - 1 percent, water supply, purification and waste processing - 0.4 percent.
The share of the private sector in the industrial sector was 93.3 percent. The share of industrial products in total output was 96.5 percent, and industrial services accounted for 3.5 percent.
Supplies of finished goods worth 403.2 million manat ($237.1million) were maintained in the warehouses of industrial enterprises as of September 1,2022, most of which were shipped to consumers, taking into account the previously stacked reserves.
