BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. The American company plans to open a plant for the production of organic fertilizers in Azerbaijan, Senior Vice President of the Rooted Leaf Agritech company Shavin Hussain told Trend.
"We are here [at the Caspian Agro exhibition in Baku] to present our products to farmers. We are planning activities in Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea region,” he said.
“The opening of the plant will provide farmers with organic fertilizers. Most of our products are of plant origin. We know that local farmers prefer organic fertilizers. We have met with several farmers and plan to deliver four types of products to Azerbaijan by the end of the year," he said.
The 16th International Exhibition of Agricultural Products, the 28th Exhibition of the International Food Industry, and the 14th International Exhibition of the Hotel and Restaurant Business are taking place from May 17 through May 19.
