Volume of transactions through Azerbaijan's Epoint e-commerce platform revealed

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. The total number of successful transactions through Azerbaijan's Epoint e-commerce platform is more than 381,900 transactions to date, co-founder of Epoint startup Hasan Hasanov told Trend.

According to him, the average amount of transactions is 65.93 manat ($38.78).

"Our company specializes in technological solutions, business optimization systems, e-commerce and cashless payments," Hasanov said.

He noted that today the total turnover of the platform exceeds 25.2 million manat ($14.8 million).

The volume of transactions amounted to 219,600, the average amount of transactions was 63.01 manat ($37.1), and the total turnover was 13.8 million manat ($8.1 million) at the end of 2022.

Back in June, Epoint revealed it is aiming to enter the market of Uzbekistan as part of the company's market expansion.

"iTicket [online ticket sales service] operates both in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, which makes it a valuable partner for Epoint to enter the Uzbek market. Cooperation with iTicket will allow the e-commerce platform to quickly get used to the new environment and ensure stable growth of its operations. Expansion into the Uzbek market represents a huge potential for Epoint, given the rapid development of e-commerce in Azerbaijan," Hasanov said at the time.

The co-founder of the company pointed out that Epoint will continue to invest in the development of its technical infrastructure and improving the user experience.

“Epoint seeks to become a leading player in the field of e-commerce not only in Azerbaijan, but also abroad, thanks to the company’s experience, reliability and partnerships with existing customers," he had said.
