BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. Health care expenses will account for 5.2 percent of budget expenditures in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
This issue has been reflected in the “Preliminary indicators of the state and consolidated budgets for 2024” document prepared by the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
The document noted that from the 2024 state budget, it's planned to allocate 1.8 billion manat, or $1.06 billion (a share of 5.2 percent), for healthcare expenses.
The state budget expenditures for 2024 are projected at 36.3 billion manat, or $21.3 billion (30.7 percent of GDP).
