BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 18. The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) predicts that Middle Eastern oil production will reach 3.29 mb/d in 2025, Trend reports.
The forecast predicts a growth of 0.12 mb/d in regional output compared to the estimated 3.17 mb/d for 2024.
To provide more detail, the region's output is expected to reach 3.24 mb/d in the first quarter of 2025, with a slight increase to 3.26 mb/d in the second quarter. It further climbs to 3.31 mb/d in the third quarter and peaks at 3.35 mb/d in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Qatar, a significant producer in the region, is expected to maintain steady output levels at 1.91 mb/d throughout 2025, up by 0.05 mb/d from the figures of 2024 (1.86 mb/d).
Meanwhile, Oman, ranking second, is projected to experience a slight year-on-year increase in its liquids output, reaching 1.07 mb/d by the end of 2025, compared to the estimated 1.01 mb/d for 2024.
