BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 17. Russia's oil production in 2025 is expected to stand at 10.63 mb/d, Trend reports.
Thus, the outlook has been revised down by 0.1 mb/d, compared to the previous month's forecast.
According to the forecast from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the country's crude oil output is expected to stabilize around 10.5 mb/d in the first quarter and 10.6 mb/d in the second quarter of 2025, then slightly increase to 10.7 mb/d in the third and fourth quarters of the same year.
Meanwhile, in 2024, Russia's oil production is predicted to be 10.4 mb/d, a decrease of 0.34 mb/d compared to the previous estimate of 10.74 mb/d. Specifically, in the first quarter of 2024, the country is expected to supply around 10.64 mb/d, followed by a decline to 10.27 mb/d in the second quarter. The output is then projected to remain at 10.29 mb/d and 10.39 mb/d for the third and fourth quarters of 2024, respectively.
The agency estimates Russia's oil output in 2023 to have been 10.75 mb/d, down by 0.22 mb/d from 10.97 mb/d in 2022.
According to the EIA forecast, Eurasia's liquids output is projected to be 13.35 mb/d in 2024, with an increase to 13.72 mb/d in 2025.
