Azerbaijani Republican Commission has taken a decision to allocate subsidies worth 51.64 million manat from state budget for agricultural producers, the country's
Agriculture Ministry reported on its official website on Thursday.
Subsidies will be allocated to 381,495 agricultural producers from 1,383 territorial commissions to cover the cost of purchasing fuel and motor oil to plant perennial plantings.
The required documents were submitted to the Finance Ministry, Kapital Bank and executive power of regions in order to make payments. A process of granting subsidies to agricultural producers will start in the next few days.
Subsidies to purchase motor oil and fuel in the amount of 40 manat per hectare of sown area are granted under a presidential decree on state support to agricultural producers.
The official exchange rate is 0.7866 manat to $1 on July 28.
