Another meeting of the Council of Elders with the participation of Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and members of the government was held in the Avaza resort area Sept. 10, a source said.
The Council annually holds meetings to discuss important national issues and serves as an advisory body.
The documents on administrative, territorial reforms and others have been prepared for this event.
The annual meetings of this format are required to unite people, to effectively use the rich experience and the wise principles of elders while discussing and solving the relevant issues of the country, the media of Turkmenistan reported.
