Azerbaijani company Fostanpak prepares to export its products to third countries

Fostanpak, an Azerbaijani company engaged in the production of plastic aluminum containers, and paper and plastic glasses, plans to start supplies to Central Asian countries by the end of this year, Ali Keresh, Head of the Sales Department of the company, told Trend.

He said that the company plans to enter the market of Kazakhstan first.

“We plan to arrange export deliveries to Kazakhstan market through Russia,” he noted. “We have recently opened a branch in Russia and we are preparing to export products to the Russian market and from there to Kazakhstan. We are exploring new markets, and we plan to strengthen the export potential in these two areas.”

He added that a branch of the company is also opened in neighboring Georgia, but so far it hasn’t been operating due to certain organizational problems.

“In the near future, we plan to eliminate the difficulties that have arisen, and launch a new branch of the company in Georgia,” he said. “Our final goal is to export products to third countries. In the meantime, we are working hard to increase production volumes and develop export potential.”

He noted that most of the exports accounts for РV stretch films. “In the near future, we plan to export РV stretch films to the Russian market in the amount of 60-80 tons,” he said.

Fostanpak is also engaged in the production of medical and cleaning products, stretch films, foils and other disposable products supplied under the "Monopak" brand name. Furthermore, the company is the distributor of many foreign companies in Azerbaijan including manufacturers of Germany, Turkey, Denmark, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and China.
