Sika Azerbaijan company, the representative of the Swiss Sika AG in the country, intends to increase the production volumes and range of certain types of building materials this year, Head of the company's sales department Emil Isayev told Trend.
“The company intends to increase the production of concrete mix, waterproofing materials and other types of building and sealing products,” head of the department added.
"The daily capacity of the company is 100 tons of dry mix,” Isayev added. “At the same time, the production volume of concrete mix is 80-90 tons daily. This year it is planned to increase the company’s production volumes up to 15 percent.”
“All products of the company are sold on the domestic market, but it is planned to begin to export the products this year,” the head of the department said. “Georgia is considered as a potential market. Depending on demand in the Georgian market, we will supply the corresponding types of building materials in the requested volumes."
Isayev also spoke about the company’s development of heat insulation of facade designed for facade cladding to protect the surface of buildings from external influence.
“This system has already been introduced and is being used for application in the appropriate operating mode,” head of the department added.
