Five more industrial and production facilities were put into operation in Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) and Isfahan Province (central Iran), Trend reports citing Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
According to the report, a facility has been commissioned at the Sangan Iron Ore Complex (SIOC) in the Khaf county of Razavi Khorasan Province with an investment of 29 trillion rials (about $690 million) by the Iranian Mobarakeh Steel Company.
The facility will produce 5 million tons of iron ore concentrate a year. And 500 people were employed.
“A facility has been commissioned in the Khaf county of Razavi Khorasan Province with an investment of 13 trillion rials (about $309 million) by the Iranian Sanabad Mine and Industrial Development Company. The facility will produce 2.5 million tons of iron pellets a year. And 200 people were employed, report said.
According to the report, a facility has been commissioned in the Shahin Shahr county of Isfahan Province with an investment of 5.4 trillion rials (about $128 million) by the Iranian Shahdineh Aran Hasht Behesht Company. The facility will produce 95,000 tons of glucose starch a year. And 300 people were employed.
“Two enterprises have been put into operation in the Murchehkhort district of Iran's Isfahan province. The first of these enterprises has been invested 400 billion rials (about $9.5 million). The first enterprise will produce 300,000 refrigerators a year. And 100 people were employed,” report noted.
“About 460 billion rials (about $ 10.9 million) have been invested to the second enterprise. The second enterprise will produce 2 million pieces of household equipment and spare parts a year. And 170 people were employed” report added.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and other officials attended the opening ceremony of the facilities via video conference.
