Russia’s Ulyanovsk region agree to hold meetings with potential partners from Turkmenistan

The dialogue on strengthening cooperation between Russia’s Ulyanovsk region and Turkmenistan will continue in April, the press service of the governor and the government of the Ulyanovsk region told Trend.

The dialogue will take place within the work of Ulyanovsk region's delegation headed by Governor Sergey Morozov at the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom. Big Industrial week in Uzbekistan".

"A preliminary agreement was reached on the organization of bilateral meetings with potential partners from Turkmenistan," the message reads.

The report also noted that on March 26, 2021, Morozov met with Consul General of Turkmenistan in Russia Atadurdy Bayramov and discussed the prospects for partnership.

"We are interested in cooperation with Turkmenistan. First of all, in the field of business," said Morozov.

According to the report, Morozov noted that the Ulyanovsk region is ready to supply products of agriculture, aircraft construction, automotive industry, machine tool construction, woodworking to Turkmenistan.

He also invited Turkmenistan to use the sites of the Ulyanovsk region, first of all, to take advantage of the logistics and customs advantages of Ulyanovsk region's Special Economic Zone to organize the delivery and sale of goods from Turkmenistan to Russia.
