Iran's export to regional and Asian countries has doubled in the
current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021) compared to the
previous Iranian year (March 20, 2020), said the head of Iran's
Trade Promotion Organization Alireza Peyman Pak, Trend reports
citing
IRNA.
"Iran's export to Russia, Turkey, Iraq, and Southeast Asian
countries have increased considerably in the recent months," he
said.
"Iran's export to Turkey increased twice more than last Iranian
year despite the decline of Turkey's national currency," he
indicated.
Iran plans to expand trade ties with Syria and export goods to
North African countries via Syria. The new administration approach
is supporting the private sector in trade with neighbors.
The Iranian government is to hold joint meetings, exhibitions, and
commercial events with neighboring countries to promote trade.
