BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 26. As many as 21 industrial enterprises were licensed to be setting up in Shirvan Country of Iran’s North Khorasan Province, during the first six months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through September 22, 2022), Director of Industry, Mine and Trade Department of Shirvan Country Abdollah Gholi told IRNA, Trend reports.
According to him, more than 12.3 trillion rials (about 294 million) is estimated to be spent on the establishment of these enterprises, and as a result 1,145 people are to be employed.
“In 6 months, 2 industrial enterprises were put into use in Shirvan County. More than 134 billion rials (about $3.2 million) has been spent on the mentioned enterprises and 21 people have been employed,” Gholi added.
The director also said that there are currently 67 industrial enterprises in this country, of which 37 are under operation. A total of 930 people work in these enterprises.
Gholi noted that the activity of 24 industrial enterprises in Shirvan County is expected to be resumed during the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023).
