Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I. Khalilova / Klaus Mueller, the expert of the German KFW bank on electricity paid a visit to Baku to discuss the preliminary measures to be taken to begin the implementation of the project on construction of electricity lines from the Azerbaijan State Regional Electricity Station to Imishli region.
The bank allocated €30mln for the project which envisages the construction of electricity lines covering 195km from the State Regional Electricity Station to Imishli. It is also planned that the construction of substations in the Geranboy region will expand its electricity lines to Imishli substations with a 330 kilowatt capacity.
Azerbaijan and the German KFW bank signed an agreement on 27 June. In compliance with the agreement, the credits provided are rendered by eurobor+0% for a twelve year term.
