Turkmenistan auctions about 190,000 tons of oil products

Turkmenistan auctioned about 190,000 tons of finished commodities of two refineries in Turkmenbashi, Saydi and Nayip gas-processing complex at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.

The country put as stock trades 10,000 tons of petrol, 30,000 tons of diesel fuel, 20,000 tons of aviation kerosene, 100,000 tons of liquefied gas, 20,000 tons of straight-run petrol and 10,000 tons of oil coke.

Some 51 transactions were registered at the Turkmen State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Companies from Afghanistan, Great Britain, the UAE bought diesel fuel, petrol, hydrotreated diesel fuel, jet kerosene and liquefied gas.

The total sum of the contracts on the exchange, including oil products exceeded $127 million.
The representatives from Azerbaijan, China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Denmark, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and other countries are the traditional participants of the auction.

The Commodity Exchange is a principal organ of state regulation of export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
