Azerbaijan accounted for more than 62 percent of crude oil imports to Ukraine in the first ten months of 2020, Trend reports with reference to Ukraine’s state customs service.
Ukraine increased imports of oil and crude oil by 1.7 times or by 438,330 tons in from January through October 2020, as compared to the same period in 2019.
During this period, the total value of crude oil imports to Ukraine stood at $344.85 million, or 9.3 percent more than in the same period in 2019 when this figure stood at $315.55 million.
Ukraine imported $ 216.16 million worth crude oil from Azerbaijan, which accounted for 62.68 percent of total imports, the United States - $ 83.05 million (24.08 percent), Libya - $ 45.56 million (13.21 percent) ), other countries - $0.09 million (0.03 percent).
Azerbaijan exported 21.5 million tons of oil (together with condensate) over the nine months of this year, according to the country's Ministry of Energy.
According to the data, this is about 1.9 million tons or 8 percent less than in the first nine months of 2019.
From oil-condensate, 20.4 million tons were exported by the consortium, 1.1 million tons - by SOCAR.
