Eurostat reveals data on import of Turkmen mineral products by Greece

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 29

Greece imported mineral fuels, mineral oils and products of their distillation; bituminous substances; mineral waxes from Turkmenistan in the amount of 11.7 million Euros in February 2021, Eurostat told Trend.

Thus, the amount of Greece imports of the same product from Turkmenistan was worth 7.4 million Euros in January 2021.

Eurostat said that Greece imported the mentioned products from Turkmenistan in the amount of 39.6 million Euros in 2020.

Greece imported 160,371 tons of crude petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals in the amount of 29.9 million Euros in 2020.

Greece didn’t purchase oil products from Turkmenistan every month of the reporting period. In particular, the purchase was carried out in April and December.

Greece imported 80,430 tons of oil products, worth 9.4 million Euros in April, and 79,941 tons, worth 20.5 million Euros in December.
