The volume of production of gasoline in Azerbaijan approached 690,100 tons from January through July 2021, Trend reports citing the report of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, the production of gasoline fell by 3.6 percent on annual basis.
“At the same time, the volume of fuel oil production in the specified period amounted to 25,500 tons, a decrease of 39 percent over the year.
As of August 1, 2021, the reserves of fuel oil in the country amounted to 11,400 tons, gasoline – 31,200 tons.
In 2020, the total value of production of oil products in Azerbaijan amounted to 3.1 billion manat ($1.03 billion), which is 3.6 percent less compared to 2019. Meanwhile, the volume of oil and gas condensate production in Azerbaijan amounted to about 34.5 million tons, having dropped by 7.8 percent over the year.
As of January 1, 2021, stocks of finished oil products in the country amounted to 439,500 tons.
