BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 21. Azerbaijan exported over 1.1 million tons of crude oil and petroleum products to India from January through August 2023, which is 6.06 percent of the total Azerbaijani exports of raw materials, Trend reports.
This indicator decreased by 29.83 percent (by more than 477,230 tons) year-on-year.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to India in the above-mentioned period amounted to over $666.49 million, which is 50.32 percent less compared to the same period in 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan exported 18.5 million tons of oil and oil products from January through August 2023, which is 2.9 percent more than in the same period last year (17.9 million tons). In addition, oil exports exceeded $11.2 billion, which is 18.14 percent, or $2.5 billion less than in the same period of 2022.
