Iran's Energy Exchange reveals hydrocarbons to be on sale for Sept. 30

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 28. A total of 19,500 tons of various hydrocarbon products will be on sale at the Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) on September 30, Trend reports.

The mentioned products will be on sale on the domestic floor of the energy exchange.

The following goods are to be offered:

- Iranian Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company’s 10,000 tons of iso-feed, 3,000 tons of naphtha and 2,000 tons of butane products;

- Elixir Halal Assaluyeh Petrochemical Company’s 2,000 tons of light hydrocarbons, 200 tons of normal hexane and 90 tons of pentane products;

- Tabriz Oil Refining Company’s 500 tons of iso-recycle, 500 tons of iso-feed, 423 tons of solvent-402 and 300 tons of solvent-404 products;

- Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company’s 500 tons of heavy tar oil products.

Meanwhile, the value of total sales at the IRENEX for the last week was around 50.5 trillion rials (about $123 million) during the last Iranian week (Sept. 16 through Sept. 20, 2023), representing a 25 percent decrease from the previous week (Sept. 9 through Sept. 13, 2023).

Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) sells its products at the SANA exchange rate.

The SANA system is a system introduced by the Central Bank of Iran to the currency exchange outlets, where the price of 1 euro is 432,963 rials and the price of $1 is 411,946 rials.

The sale of hydrocarbon products at the Iran Energy Exchange is of great importance to the country’s economy. Through the energy exchange, Iran seeks to provide hydrocarbon products needed by local companies as well as increase exports.
