BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 7. In the first 11 months of 2023, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) generated revenues of $1.308 billion from the sale of gas and condensate, Trend reports with reference to the fund.
This figure represents a 3.6 percent decrease compared to the same period in 2022 when the income was $1.357 billion.
Specifically, SOFAZ received $324.396 million from the sale of Shah Deniz condensate during this period, reflecting a 1.3 percent decrease compared to the first 11 months of the previous year, where the income was $328.567 million.
Shah Deniz participating interests are: bp (operator – 29.99%), SGC (21.02%), LUKOIL (19.99%), TPAO (19.00%) and NICO (10.00%).
The existing Shah Deniz facilities’ production capacity is currently about 72.1 million standard cubic metres of gas per day or approximately 26.3 billion standard cubic metres per year.
