Azerbaijan names oil output, export volume from ACG, Shah Deniz fields since commissioning

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 13. A total of 631 million tons of oil and condensate have been extracted from the key Caspian Sea fields - Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields and the Shah Deniz field since their commissioning until February 1, 2024, Trend reports.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy data showed that 586 million tons of oil were produced from the ACG since autumn 1997.

Besides, 45 million tons of condensate have been produced from the Shah Deniz field since December 2006.

Of this volume of liquid hydrocarbons from these key international projects in Azerbaijan, as of February 1, 2024, 629 million tons of oil and condensate were exported.

The main route for the export of these hydrocarbons is the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.

In 2023, Azerbaijan produced 30.2 million tons of oil (including condensate), of which 25.2 million tons were exported.
