The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week amounted to over $2.4 million, Trend reports with reference to the state news agency of Turkmenistan.
According to the information, 12 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
It is reported that for foreign currency, entrepreneurs from Tajikistan and others purchased gasoline produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
In addition, businessmen from Russia, Turkey, and Ireland bought cotton yarn for foreign currency. The total amount of transactions exceeded $2.391 thousand.
Also, representatives of business circles from the UAE, Turkey, Scotland, Kazakhstan purchased cotton yarn and non-distilled raw fatty acids of cotton soap stock for manat funds in a total amount of more than 8 million 322 thousand manats ($2.4 million).
