The request for foreign investment in Iran is increasing, said the head of Iranian and Foreign Joint Venture Investment Association, Trend reports citing ILNA.
Iran received more than $4.5 billion applications for foreign investment during first seven months of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2021), said Hossein Salimi noted.
The annual request for foreign investment in Iran was $3 to $4 billion that about 50 percent were implemented.
Foreign investment requests on several mega projects in Iran have increased.
The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiations are expected to have a considerable effect in attracting foreign investment.
