Iran's liquidity growth has declined in recent months, said the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI) Ali Salehabadi, Trend reports citing IRNA.

"The liquidity growth trend, in general, is in decline and reducing from 42.8 percent on September 23 to 39.8 percent on December 22," he noted.

The government has borrowed 550 trillion rials (about $13 billion) from the Central Bank of Iran which is also the cause of increasing monetary base and liquidity.
