Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank unveils net profit for 1Q2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 26. Azerbaijan's PASHA Bank has ended the first three months of 2022 with a net profit of 38.3 million manat ($22.5 million), while this indicator amounted to 18.78 million manat ($11.05 million) in the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the bank's financial report.

Thus, the revenues of PASHA Bank increased by 104.01 percent over the year.

According to the report, the bank's net gain from interest totaled 59.37 million manat ($34.9 million). It was formed by interest income worth 71.49 million manat, or $42.07 million (growth by 12.48 percent over the year) and interest expenses of 12.116 million manat, or $7.1 million.

PASHA Bank's non-interest income reached 26.309 million manat, or $15.48 million (an increase of 12.54 percent over the year). As of March 31, 2022, non-interest expenses of the bank made up 42.16 million manat, or $24.8 million.

The bank's profit before taxes and unforeseen expenses related to banking activities totaled 50.89 million manat ($29.9 million). According to the reporting period, the bank-paid income tax amounted to 12.57 million manat ($7.39 million).
