In January-November 2018, Azerbaijan imported 766,065 working wireless mobile phones and devices, totaling $83,199, the State Statistics Committee told Trend on Tuesday.
The committee said that for 11 months of 2018 the number of mobile phones imported into the country increased by almost 11 percent compared with January-November 2017 when 691,202 mobile devices were imported. In terms of value, this indicator also increased by 38.2 percent.
On average, over 69,000 mobile devices have been imported into the country each month since the beginning of 2018. In value terms, monthly vol. of the mobile phone market exceeded $7.5 million.
