BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. As many as 160,467 foreigners visited Azerbaijan in October 2022, up by 76.39 percent compared to the same month of 2021 (90,973), Trend reports citing the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
From January through October 2022, a total of 1.3 million tourists visited Azerbaijan, which was twice the same period of 2021 (606,253).
Most of the foreigners who visited Azerbaijan in October 2022 were citizens of Russia (54,100 people), Türkiye (28,300 people), Iran (15,300 people), India (9,400 people) and Georgia (8,500 people).
This indicator is followed by Pakistan (5,600 people), Saudi Arabia (4,100 people), Uzbekistan (3,200 people), Kazakhstan (3,100 people) and Israel (2,500 people).
