BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 22. The number of foreigners who visited Azerbaijan grew in November 2022, Trend reports citing the State Tourism Agency.
According to the agency, this figure amounted to 135,370 foreigners, up by 57.3 percent compared to November 2021 (86,061).
From January through November 2022, over 1.45 million tourists visited Azerbaijan, which was twice the same period of last year (692,314), the agency said.
The TOP-10 countries for the number of citizens, who visited Azerbaijan in November this year, included Russia (40,800 people), Türkiye (26,700 people), Iran (15,000 people), Georgia (8,600 people), and India (7,700 people).
This indicator is followed by Pakistan (4,200 people), Saudi Arabia (3,200 people), Uzbekistan (2,800 people), UAE (2,600 people) and Kazakhstan (2,500 people).
