Azerbaijan’s ADY Container LLC is consistently taking measures to increase cargo transportation from China to Turkey and Europe through Azerbaijan, a source in the company told Trend.
“The multilateral protocol, signed on November 6, 2019 in Ankara, is one of the steps in this direction,” the source said.
In accordance with the protocol signed by the responsible container transport structures of China, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, the parties pledged to increase the volume of container cargo which is transported by railway from China to Turkey and from there to Europe.
"In connection with the latest information on the transportation of dried fruits from China to Turkey, we inform that the operator of this transportation is ADY Container LLC, a subsidiary of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC," the source said.
"Dried fruits will be supplied to Turkey via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway through Azerbaijan,” the source said. “Despite that transportation of agricultural products is a difficult logistics process, ADY Container seeks to increase the volumes of transportation."
