St. Korean auto center to be opened in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region

Evergreen Motors Co., Ltd. South Korean auto center with a total cost of $1 million will open in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the administration of the Tashkent region.

According to the information, the agreement was signed at a meeting between the governor of Tashkent region Rustam Kholmatov and the executive vice president of Evergreen Motors Co., Ltd. Kim Ik Dong.

It was noted that the auto center will also have a car maintenance workshop. It is planned to allocate one hectare of land for the construction of the complex.

In addition, 100 people will be provided with jobs with the commissioning of the center. It is expected that the auto complex will open its doors by the fourth quarter of 2021.

It was also noted that Uzbekistan closely cooperates with Evergreen Motors Co., Ltd. In August 2018, the head office of Evergreen Motors Group opened a Korean-Uzbek business center in Korea with the transfer of an office building. There is also a subsidiary company in Tashkent that sells Kia Motors and Hyundai cars.
