Iran sees increase in cargo operations at Dayyer port

BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 26. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port of Iran’s Bushehr Province in the south of the country, increased by 75.4 percent for the 11th month of the previous Iranian year (January 21 through February 19, 2023), compared to the same month in the preceding year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

More than 22,100 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at the Dayyer port during the reporting month.

Of the mentioned volume, about 17,100 tons were loaded and 5,120 tons were unloaded.

Also, 17,000 tons of cargo were exported through the Dayyer port within the 11th month.

At the same time, 70 tons of cargo were loaded and 5,120 tons were unloaded in the port for other purposes.

Some 47 tons of small and assorted goods and about 22,200 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded at Iran’s Dayyer port in the 11th month of the current Iranian year.

In total, approximately 12.8 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 11th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.9 million tons were loaded and 5.88 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 1.37 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
