Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will arrive in Astana on July 21.
Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerzhan Kazykhanov made the statement while answering journalists' questions after a meeting with German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle, RIA Novosti reported.
"As far as I know the president is in short vacation and he will be in office in Kazakhstan," Kazykhanov said.
Nazarbayev recently underwent a prostate operation, the German Bild tabloid reported on Wednesday.
The 71-year-old arrived in the city on July 10 and was operated on by a Dutch specialist at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. Presently, the president feels fine and he is in one of the luxury hotels in Hamburg.
Earlier, a source in the Kazakh leadership told RIA Novosti that Nazarbayev is on holiday. He did not rule out that he will undergo a medical examination abroad.
