Astana will host the international forum on cooperation in economy and regional security between the countries of Central Asia and Afghanistan on Dec. 4, Kazakh Majilis (the Parliament's lower chamber) reported.
"The main purpose of the event is to exchange the views on further cooperation between Central Asian countries and Afghanistan, including the enhancement of the role of parliamentarians in promoting the regional cooperation," Majilis said.
The forum will be organized by Kazakh Majilis and Kazakh Institute for Strategic Studies under the President.
Parliamentarians, experts, and political analysts from Central Asia, Russia and Afghanistan will take part in the forum.
