Kazakhstan prepares 4-year national development plan

Kazakhstan’s national development plan for 2021-2025 is prepared, Prime Minister Askar Mamin said at an expanded meeting of the Government, Trend reports referring to the press office of the government.

"The Government is keeping the implementation of the ruling Nur Otan Party Chairman's strategic initiatives - the Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy, 100 concrete steps to implement the Five Institutional Reforms, as well as the President’s Address to the Nation and the Party's electoral program under the special control," Mamin emphasized.

The prime minister also noted that the National Development Plan until 2025 has been developed for the practical implementation of strategic and program documents.

"This document will be a key guideline for the medium term in the work of the Government to improve the social well-being of the population through ensuring sustainable and high-quality economic growth," he stressed.

Mamin added that, given the set strategic tasks, the Government has identified seven main directions for 2021, which are raising the self-sufficiency of the economy, attracting high-quality investments, developing entrepreneurship, infrastructure, high-quality digitalization, increasing incomes of the population and ensuring employment, as well as developing competitive human capital.
