As of August 19, Kazakhstan has stocks in the total volume of 819,000 tons of various foodstuffs, Trend reports with reference to BaigeNews.kz.
According to the information, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan on a weekly basis monitors the provision of regions for 32 main foodstuffs.
“Monitoring takes into account stocks in stabilization funds, in large retail chains, in warehouses of suppliers and processing enterprises," the message says.
Thus, as of August 19, 2021, there are stocks in the country in a total volume of 819,000 tons of various foodstuffs. At manufacturing enterprises – 301,000 tons, in warehouses – 86,600 tons, in retail chains – 374,000 tons, in stabilization funds – 18,300 tons and 495.7 million eggs.
"The specified volume is sufficient, depending on the type of product, from one to six months. It was noted that there are sufficient stocks of raw materials for production and stocks are constantly updated and replenished," the Ministry of Agriculture stressed.
