BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 27. Honeywell is considering the possibility of implementing projects in Kazakhstan, Honeywell's President of Global High Growth Regions Ben Driggs said, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh government.

He made the statement during the meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

The sides discussed the low-carbon economy, introduction of modern ‘green’ technologies in industry, and Honeywell's plans to launch projects in Kazakhstan.

Driggs said that Honeywell is currently considering projects in Kazakhstan related to hydrocarbon capture and plastic recycling technologies, also the production of ‘green’ jet and diesel fuel.

"We welcome your plans to launch new investment projects in Kazakhstan. In this regard, I would like to emphasize that the government intends to increase cooperation in the areas you mentioned and provide the necessary support," Smailov said.

Honeywell is the US’s corporation that manufactures electronic control and automation systems. The main areas are aerospace equipment, technologies for the operation of buildings and industrial facilities, automotive equipment, turbochargers.
